We are struggling to find the words to express the depth of our grief. So many lives, so much love, so much hope, all lost in a single moment. These women dedicated their lives to helping animals, giving them a second chance and a future they deserved. Their journey was one of compassion, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to those who had no voice.
A van carrying these dogs collided with two lorries in Romania. The impact was devastating. The animals, who were so close to beginning a new chapter in their lives, never made it to their destination. They had already endured so much, and they were finally on their way to safety.
Our hearts are with the families and loved ones of the two women, with everyone who knew and loved them, and with all those who worked so hard to save these animals.
