With an MBA in international Economics and Finance from Goethe University, Axel has nearly three decades of experience in the financial industry, including previous roles as Chairman and co-founder of American International Bank Acquisition Corp, CEO for Lombard International Assurance, and CEO at UBS Deutschland AG. He worked at Goldman Sachs for 16 years as Managing Director for Asset Management (EMEA). He continues to hold advisory or board member roles in several companies such as Siemens, Atlantik-Brücke e.V., Hodl Group, Norge Plc. He is also a Founding Member of Wild at Life e.V.
