With over 20 years of experience, Graeme has worked right across the public and private spectrum, with roles in Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs in the UK where he worked on animal health & trade; as a diplomat representing the UK government in Brussels, where he worked to improve animal welfare; in the European Commission; Director of Public Affairs for a Brussels-based industry association; the global head of public affairs for a major multinational company; and latterly as a public affairs consultant. In that time, he has worked on a range of issues, including work on high-profile issues like the Canadian seal hunt – and has advised CEOs, Ambassadors, Ministers and European Commissioners. Awarded “European Public Affairs Professional of the Year” in 2018, Graeme has a unique insight into the workings of EU, national and global decision making, and relishes putting that to work for causes he is passionate about.
