Project: From Neglect to Care: Restoring the Lives of Abandoned Zoo Animals in Nigeria
A shy hyena that was left to die, Hanena used to live with two other hyenas. They, unfortunately, died before Wild at Life e.V.’s arrival. Since transferring him, Hanena spends his day roaming his grass enclosure. He is a very loving and outgoing hyena. Normally hyenas are shy, but Hanena greets us with kindness whenever we show up.
95€ is equivalent to roughly two weeks’ worth of food for Hanena. Unfortunately, this is due to the rising inflation rate in Nigeria.
Please note: This is a manually-renewed ongoing donation aiming to support the animals’ expenses for a three-month period. The costs vary depending on factors such as the animal’s diet, required medication, the number of keepers, and the country in which they are located.
