Project: Canned Hunting Lions Rescue
Eva was born on a canned hunting farm in South Africa. She grew up posing for pictures with tourists coming to hunt on the premise, making her comfortable with humans. This meant that she would have been an easy hunt had Wild at Life e.V. not interfered. Eva was originally living in a pride of four (with Georges, Julie, and Elma). But as she got bullied, she was moved to live with Christian who lost his partner to old age. Since then, she is now a mother of three. Eva has a soft and sweet temperament and always comes to greet the team that rescued her. She constantly purrs and loves to relax under the trees.
To care for the lions in South Africa, 95€ translates to about 1.5 months’ worth of meat.
Please note: This is a manually-renewed ongoing donation aiming to support the animals’ expenses for a three-month period. The costs vary depending on factors such as the animal’s diet, required medication, the number of keepers, and the country in which they are located.
