Project: Mission Caita
At four months old, Matiaba is the youngest chimpanzee Wild at Life e.V. has rescued so far. He was rescued from the hands of poachers who were subsequently sent to jail. In the hands of the poachers, Matiaba suffered malnutrition and various cuts on his tiny body. Now at our partnering sanctuary, he receives a lot of love and care from his caregivers, and has Zizi, Zeze, and Jacka as his playmates.
95€ translates to approximately two months of feeding and deworming medicine, as well as wages for the caregivers.
Please note: This is a manually-renewed ongoing donation aiming to support the animals’ expenses for a three-month period. The costs vary depending on factors such as the animal’s diet, required medication, the number of keepers, and the country in which they are located.
