In South Africa, Wild at Life e.V. carries out rhinoceros conservation and rescue. During the mission, we put AI trackers on them, dehorn them, and collect plasma from the rhinos. Collaring and dehorning prevent them from being targets of wildlife poaching, as well as gather data and better understand their movements. If a different rhino is poached, we can use the plasma we stored to heal him, so he won’t lose his life!
Please note: This is a manually-renewed ongoing donation aiming to support the animals’ expenses for a three-month period. The costs vary depending on factors such as the animal’s diet, required medication, the number of keepers, and the country in which they are located.
