Project: The Livingstone Elephant Herd
Considering the sheer size of African elephants, their daily intake of approximately 300kg of vegetation comes as no surprise. Additionally, the dedicated care provided to each individual elephant includes their personal keeper, further adding to the monthly expenses. As a result, the upkeep of the Livingstone herd constitutes a substantial portion of Wild at Life e.V.’s monthly expenses.
95€ roughly translates to about a week’s worth of food for an elephant.
Please note: This is a manually-renewed ongoing donation aiming to support the animals’ expenses for a three-month period. The costs vary depending on factors such as the animal’s diet, required medication, the number of keepers, and the country in which they are located.
