We are proud to share our latest contribution to advancing international efforts to combat wildlife crime and broader environmental offences.
As a member of the Global Initiative to End Wildlife Crime (EWC), we have joined 103 organizations in calling on the European Union to support the development of a new Protocol under the UN Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (UNTOC). This proposed Protocol represents a critical step toward closing long-standing gaps in the global legal framework addressing wildlife trafficking and environmental crime.
Being part of this collective effort is a significant milestone for us. The EWC brings together a diverse alliance of environmental, legal, policy, and public health experts working toward a shared goal: strengthening international law to effectively prevent and combat wildlife crime.
To stand alongside such a wide range of respected NGOs, institutions, and international partners—and to co-sign this joint letter—demonstrates both the urgency of the issue and the growing global momentum for change.
We are honored to contribute to this movement and remain committed to supporting efforts that drive meaningful, systemic change.
